Real human beings

If I could tattoo this message on the foreheads of every executive out there, I would. We’ve operated for far too long under the assumption that care and hard work are orthogonal, when every scrap of evidence has long shown the reverse: that caring for people and meeting their needs is what enables people to perform at their best. The wisest leaders have always known this; it’s way past time for everyone else to catch up.
